Data protection regulations

The Data Protection Authority of Guinea (DPA) enforces Guinea’s data protection laws via the Guinea Law No. L/2016/037/AN on Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection Law

Institutions are required to obtain users’ consent before processing and transferring personal data. Users are entitled to the erasure of their personal data upon request.

The national ID card issued by the Police Service which reports to the Ministère de la sécurité is the primary KYC document in Guinea.

Guinea Voters ID

Voter IDs issued by La Commission électorale nationale indépendante, Guinea (CENI) are required for voting in election and can also be used as a KYC document.

Guinea Passport

Passports issued by Direction Centrale de la Police aux Frontiéres(DCPAF) may not be popular but are an acceptable kyc document
